Established on September 9, 1915 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, the Founder of Black History Month, ASALH carries forth the work of its founder, the Father of Black History. The year’s theme is “The Crises in Black Education”. This is an opportunity to meet renown scholars and educators from around the world and learn more about African and African American history. We are looking for various individuals and organizations to participate.
