Executive Council Member, Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, was invited to join the Aspen Institute’s Socrates Program for their 25th Annual Summer Seminars.
The Summer Seminars consisted of a three-day event filled with a lineup of five seminars. Gloria was tapped as the moderator for their sold-out, hybrid capacity (in-person and virtual) seminar, De-Institutionalizing Racism: How Did We Get Here/Where Are We Going?
The De-Institutionalizing Racism: How Did We Get Here/Where Are We Going? seminar explored both the history and future of institutionalized racism in the United States, focusing on protesting, voting rights and criminal justice.
