The faculty of the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of South Carolina, Columbia campus, invites applications for two 9-month, full-time, tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2026.
The position requires a PhD in women’s and gender studies or a related field and research/teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas: global social movements; Latina/o, Asian American, and/or Indigenous activism in the USA; or girlhood studies. ABD candidates may apply, but must have the PhD in hand before the start date of the position.
