Bethune-Cookman University Department of English, World Languages, and Cultures Studies department is looking for a job candidate who is exceptionally qualified and able to relocate to Daytona Beach, Florida. The successful candidate should be a broadly trained historian who has at least one year of experience teaching at a college or university. Moreover, this person should be able to teach African-American history courses and be willing to assist with the development of public history courses and courses focusing on the African Diaspora. The successful candidate also should have a Ph.D. degree or be close to earning a doctoral degree (ABD status) in history or in a closely related field. This job comes with a 4/4 course load.
