The James Weldon Johnson Branch of ASALH will celebrate its 30th Anniversary and commemorate the 154th birthday of James Weldon Johnson on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

The branch is honored to have as our guest speaker the National President of the Association for the Study of African Life and History, Dr. Karsonya (Kaye) Wise Whitehead, who is an American educator, author, radio host, speaker, and documentary filmmaker.
