Black Health Matters Summit in partnership with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Black Health Matters, the leading “Black Wellness” platform is please to announce its partnership with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on the upcoming Black Health Matters Summit. This Summit will be held on July 13th from 8am-5pm. The focus is on family health with more than 14 sessions focused on providing information so that patients, caregivers and advocates can better manage chronic disease and meet the like-minded committed to fighting injustices in healthcare.
The Black Health Matters Summit in partnership with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
Black Health Matters was launched in 2012 to become a resource for the thousands of African Americans that would have immediate opportunities for care and screenings due to the ACA. Since 2012, Black Health Matters mission has been to improve health literacy through multiple touch-points of note within the African American community. Black Health Matters offers a robust library of evidence-based content on health, wellness and fitness. This content is share over its active social channels and shared in its weekly newsletters. Its Black Health Matters Summits are nationally acclimated for raising awareness of diseases that impact the African American community most. This vital information is presented by passionate and dedicated experts in their respective fields.
The mission of Black Health Matters is to build community for organizations that serve the African diaspora. These organizations include fraternities, sororities, faith-centers and civic organization. The organization develops and directs patient engagement programs that feature Black Health Matters content in addition to newsletters, attendance at Summits and much more.
The partnership with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has provided Black Health Matters with new insights on evangelizing health. The key focus is to influence African American men to raise their hands for their health, even if they feel vulnerable. The Summit on July 13th will provide a foundation from which men, women and young adults can advocate for themselves with confidence.
