About The Event
“I think the difference between me and some people is that I’m content to do my little bit. Sometimes people think they have to do big things in order to make change. But if each one would light a candle we’d have a tremendous light.”
“I know that God is using me in ways beyond my comprehension.”
-Sister Thea Bowman
(Sunrise 12/29/1937 – Sunset 3/30/1990)
Sister Thea Bowman is truly beyond category. She is not only the inspiration for the blockbuster movie “Sister Act,” but she is also on the fast track of being recognized as a Saint by the Catholic Church. Ordained ‘A Servant Of GOD’ in 2018, she could possibly be the first Black American Saint in history.
