Jada will present on her book, Florida’s Historic African American Homes. Jada will share about her impactful work on Florida’s Black History.
About Jada
Jada Wright-Greene is a public historian, author, nonprofit leader, and the Black Museum Activist, committed to preserving and sharing Black history. She is the author of Florida’s Historic African American Homes, the first book to highlight historic homes owned by Black Floridians that played pivotal roles in shaping history.
Jada was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and she holds degrees from Bethune-Cookman University in Political Science, Michigan State University in Urban & Regional Planning & Museum Studies, Johns Hopkins University in Museum Studies & Nonprofit Management, and Jackson State University in History. With over 30 years of experience in nonprofits, museums, and historical sites, she remains devoted to safeguarding and promoting Black history.
