Come join us at “Poetry, Paintings & Percussion – Mixin’ It Up!” (formerly titled “Poetry, Music & Art – Mixin’ It Up”).
Poet, author, and visual artist, Diane Wilbon Parks, will co-feature with Prince George’s County Poet Laureate Emerita, Sistah Joy, who will moderate and share poetry at “Poetry, Painting, & Percussion – Mixin It Up!,” a free arts event with African drumming by Djembe drummer, Doc Powell.
This event, which is presented by the Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) and includes a limited Open Mic, will take place from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, at Arts’tination, 162 Waterfront Street, Oxon Hill / National Harbor, Maryland 20745.
