Queens College Africana Studies to Host its Second Publish & Flourish Professional Development Workshop

Queens College Africana Studies will host its second Publish & Floruish Professional Development Workshop with Prof. Nadine Naber.

In support of tailoring the workshop for our audience, Dr. Naber requests that those interested register by October 10.

Topic: LIBERATE YOUR SCHOLARSHIP: Claiming and naming your own set of liberated theories and method

Dr. Nadine Naber is an award winning author, public speaker and activist on the topics of racial justice; gender justice; women of color feminisms; Arab and Muslim feminisms; Arab Americans; Muslim Americans; people of color-based activism and solidarity; and international human rights. Her workshop aims to guide participants toward:

1. Healing anxiety, imposter syndrome, and overwhelm by claiming your core beliefs and a sense of inner/collective-power and dignity.

2. Claiming and naming your own set of liberated theories and methods.

3. Designing a liberated research project in alignment with who you are and what you stand for.
