Gray Institute for Human & Civil Rights. I’m reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for your undergraduate students\, designed to cultivate the next generation of human and civil rights leaders and undergraduate students who are passionate about democratic participation\, social justice\, and community impact. I would be grateful if you would consider forwarding the information below to any Departments that might have students that would be interested. \nThe Fred D. Gray Institute for Human & Civil Rights is accepting applications for the Deborah Gray Scholars Program for undergraduate students focused on civic engagement\, social justice\, and voting rights. Scholars will join a two-day civil rights pilgrimage (Montgomery\, Selma\, and Tuskegee)\, participate in six virtual mentorship and project-development sessions\, and present their work at the Spring 2027 Symposium.
