The Greater Kansas City Black History Study Group Virtual Founder’s Day Program

The Greater Kansas City Black History Study Group, in collaboration with the Black Archives of Mid-America, will hold its annual Founder’s Day Program via Zoom on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at 3:00 pm CST. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Lionel Kimble, Vice President for Programs for the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, and an Associate Profesor of History at Chicago State University. In keeping with this year’s theme, African Americans and the Vote, Dr. Kimble will present, “Reconsidering the Black Vote: Voting Rights in the Age of Black Lives Matter”.
