Black Communities: A Conference for Collaboration will be held April 23-25, 2018 in Durham, NC and will connect community members’ expert knowledge of their towns, neighborhoods and groups with scholars’ expertise in the humanities, social and health sciences and arts! The purpose of these connections will be to create research partnerships and future collaborations between communities and academics that will enhance, document and safeguard the life of these communities.
We are seeking proposals from community members, university researchers, independent scholars and students to actively participate in the conference!
