The Library of Congress is announcing Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to award grants in support of contemporary ethnographic field research focusing on the cultures and traditions of diverse communities across the United States.

Grant opportunities are available for both individuals and organizations through two separate NOFOs that are open for applications July 23 – September 7, 2021 and can be accessed online at: blogs.loc.gov/OfThePeople.

The Library of Congress intends to award up to 10 total Community Collections Grants across the individual and organization funding opportunities. The Library’s intention is to make grant awards of up to $50,000, except that grants that propose to host a public program in their home community may be up to $60,000.

The applications due date is September 7, 2021.
