Earlham College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in African History at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2018. The Department seeks candidates committed to teaching excellence and liberal arts education. The candidate must be able to make a significant contribution to the college’s interdisciplinary program in African and African American Studies.

Responsibilities include teaching first year intensive writing courses, the African History Sequence (To and Since 1880), and courses in fields of specialization/interests. Ph.D. required.
