Athens Branch – Film Screening and Discussion: “Talking Black in America”

For the branch’s event celebrating the birthday of Carter G. Woodson, Professor Jon Forrest of the University of Georgia’s Department of Linguistics, an expert in Southern US English and African American Language will introduce and discuss the significance of the award-winning film, -Talking Black in America- (2016). A question and answer session and reception will follow after the screening.
