Memphis Branch – Dr. Carter G. Woodson’s 144th Birthday Commemoration

The Memphis Branch of ASALH will host a panel of distinguished educators, historians, leaders. scholars, activists,and authors focusing on ASALH, a premier organization whose missions to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information emphasizing the role of African American life, history, culture, and education in a global community. An additional discussion will include an introduction of the ASALH 2020 theme-“AFRICAN AMERICANS AND THE VOTE.”
