Green River College seeks an Instructor of African American History to teach freshman and sophomore level courses, including HIST 224: African American History, HIST& 136: U.S. History I, and HIST& 137: U.S. History II. The successful candidate will develop curriculum and create new courses in African American History. Approximately two-thirds of teaching responsibilities will include U.S. History survey courses. We seek an instructor who embraces the community and technical college mission and the faculty role of contributing to the general education of students who will apply learning to the world of work and transfer their education to a university.
