The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) is requesting information regarding members’ affiliations with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and Masonic/Eastern Star organizations in order to foster stronger connections and collaborations. These institutions have long been pillars of leadership, scholarship, and service within African American communities.

By identifying and celebrating these affiliations, ASALH seeks to strengthen partnerships, highlight shared traditions, and expand opportunities for engagement, thereby advancing our mission to preserve, promote, and protect Black history and culture.

JOIN US FOR PHOTOS – We will begin this collaboration with HBCU members and those in the Divine 9 and other organizations at the 110th Annual Conference in Atlanta.

Join us for an HBCU photo on Thursday, September 25, at 5:50 p.m. on the Omni South Tower Motor Lobby steps.

Join us on Friday at 6:45 p.m. in the North Tower Pre-function area M4 for a photo with the Divine 9 members and those in other organizations.

For more information on how you can assist, please contact ASALH Secretary David Walton at [email protected]
