National Capital Parks — East is pleased to announce additional operating hours at the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site and the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site.
Frederick Douglass NHS will be open Tuesday–Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting next week, and Mary McLeod Bethune Council House NHS will be open Thursday–Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. starting this week. We encourage you to visit both National Historic Sites and learn more about the lasting legacies of these incredible individuals.
