Position: Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Multicultural Women’s & Gender Studies, full-time, 9-months.

Potential for renewal and summer employment. Salary commensurate with experience.

Starting Date: August 2022.

This position is part of the Texas Woman’s University College of Arts and Sciences Arts (CAS) diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) cluster hiring initiative on diversity and social justice that includes multiple searches across the college.

The goals of the cluster hire are to 1) recruit and retain a diverse community of scholars; 2) create a network and support system for a diverse community of scholars; 3) support our diverse student population in majors and minors in CAS disciplines; and 4) strengthen the college’s course offerings in diversity and social justice that enhance a university-wide core curriculum with a DEI component.
