Troy-based Global Cultural Foundation Appoints Charles Ezra Ferrell as Vice President
2019 Michigan Humanities Champion of the Year leaves the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History to Expand the Growth of a Global Foundation
The Keiga Foundation headquartered in Troy, MI, with operations in Kampala, Uganda and Kassel, Germany, proudly appoints Charles Ezra Ferrell as Vice President for Development and Global Programs. Ferrell will be responsible for the development of international and regional cultural exchange programs, institutional partnerships, charitable giving, and communications.

Ferrell most recently served as Vice President for Public Programs and Community Engagement at Detroit’s Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and has over 20 years of combined non-profit public program development and executive management experience. Recipient of the 2019 “Humanities Champion of the Year” award from Michigan Humanities, Ferrell is internationally recognized for his program development and passionate involvement in building sustainable partnerships and advancing human rights and social justice.”
Ferrell states, “I am excited to join The Keiga Foundation under the leadership of Dr. Christof Traidl at this critical time in history. Despite the massive challenges we face as a global society, the critical role of the arts in building global and intra-national cultural bridges must be accentuated.
