U.S. History, post-1945: The Department of History at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Post-1945 U.S. History. We are particularly interested in scholars specializing in urban and/or political history as well as race, ethnicity, and immigration. The candidate will participate in the undergraduate and graduate teaching mission of the Department. Receipt of the PhD is expected by the time of appointment.
