The Manasota Branch of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) invites you to join us in honoring our rich legacy and the visionary founders of our organization with a special Founders’ Day Celebration and Flag Raising Ceremony.

This event commemorates the founding of ASALH and celebrates our ongoing mission to promote, research, preserve, interpret, and disseminate information about Black life, history, and culture to the global community.

We look forward to raising the ASALH flag high and gathering in unity as we reflect on the past and inspire future generations.
