This event will explore through dialogue with community leaders, “Why must Black Folks defend the teaching of Black History”, “How the DeSantis’ anti-Black History policies affect the education of youth in K-12 and college education?”, “What are the impacts of policies that exclude the teaching of Black History & Culture on future generations”, “What strategies organizations can do to preserve, promote, and expand the teaching of Black History”.

Vans will begin loading for the Community Forum at 5:45 PM and depart for the Bethel Church at 6:00 PM from the Hyatt Hotel Neuman Street entrance. They will start loading from The Bethel Church at 8:00 PM to return to the Hyatt. The last bus leaves at 9:30 PM. Uber, Lyft, taxi’s will are also recommended.
