For over ten years of documented records, Manasota ASALH, Inc has made a difference in Manatee and Sarasota counties in Florida. We have given out over 232 scholarships. Of the 232 students that received scholarships, 57% went to Florida Colleges or Universities. The top four schools the students were accepted to or panned to attend were: State College of Florida – 23, Florida A&M University – 19, University of South Florida – 20 and, University of Florida – 17.
For 9 years of SAT/ACT scores, our students were higher than the national averages 6 out of 9 years! Simply the Best!
139 students would be STEM majors in college and the breakdown was 111 females and 28 males.
The top four majors students plan on taking were Pre-Med (40), Nursing (23), Business Management/Business Administration (18), and Engineering (16).
