ASALH member Joe Madison, ” The Black Eagle” of the Madison Show has been awarded the 2021 Lifetime Media Achievement Award by the National Black Radio Hall of Fame.
“The Black Eagle”, Joe Madison is a renown voice in radio, a pioneer civil rights and human activist for over four decades. His weekly morning radio show on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, The Joe Madison Show challenges his audience to not just talk about the injustices and issues facing the nation, but to take action as well.
In 2015, Madison broke a Guinness World Record and raised over $200,000 for the Smithsonian African American History and Culture Museum with a 52-hour live show.
