On Thursday, July 13th at 3:00 pm, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) and the Park History Program will host an information session on the National Park Service’s African American Civil Rights Network (AACRN). Created by the African American Civil Rights Act of 2017, and coordinated by the National Park Service, the Network tells the stories of the people, places, and events of the U.S. civil rights movement through a collection of public and private resources. This session will introduce participants to the Network, the application process, and the AACRN grant programs.
