Join us for an inspiring lecture by Dr. Scott to celebrate 100 years of Black History Month and the legacy of Dr. Carter G. Woodson.
This special presentation will be delivered by Dr. Daryl Michael Scott, professor of History and Chair of the Department of History, Geography, and Museum Studies at Morgan State University. With a distinguished academic career spanning decades, Dr. Scott is a nationally recognized historian of African American history and a former President of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), where he played a key role in shaping the centennial celebration of Black History Month and advancing the study and dissemination of Black history.
