Crisis of the Black Intellectual

In Crisis of the Black Intellectual, Wright argues that Black intellectuals have failed to become the intellectual force Black people need. This is due to their inability to clarify Black identity, distinguish between race and racism, and differentiate between race and ethnicity. They have also failed to educate Black people about Booker T. Washington, his efforts to build Black Power, and his importance to Black people and America.
