Bio:
Nathaniel Moore is an educator and archivist living in the Bay Area in California. He is currently the co-director at the Freedom Archives and an archivist at the UC Berkeley Ethnic Studies Library. Much of Nathaniel’s work focuses on the intersection of archival preservation, the history of Left movements and education. He has also been active in prisoner support work for the past decade as well as numerous political projects working to cultivate community organizing and resistance. He holds degrees in African Studies, African American Studies and Library and Information Science. His published works include The Transformative Power of Sankofa: Teaching African History Inside San Quentin State Prison and Don’t Trust Anyone Over the Age of 30: Youth Empowerment and Community Archives.
