ASALH Speakers Bureau
Carter G. Woodson Distinguished Lecturers

The Association for the Study of African American History and Culture has organized a speaker’s bureau to assist organizations, institutions, and corporations when needing a presenter for their program. Our speakers are distinguished, known in their field, and are able to cover a wide range of topics related to the African American experience.

The Association will only facilitate introductions if the speaker’s budget is $1,000+. We understand that not all organizations and institutions are able to meet this and we encourage you to reach out to your local colleges and universities to solicit a speaker for your program. This is a good professional development for graduate and doctoral students.

For more information or to make arrangements for an engagement, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Requests should be made at least one month in advance of program.
