Members of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History are warmly invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, March 31st at 7:00 p.m. EST to learn more about the vital role of Executive Council members—our board of directors—and the upcoming election process. This is a unique opportunity to explore how you can help shape the vision, goals, and programs of ASALH while contributing your voice and leadership to an organization dedicated to preserving and advancing Black history.
Serving on the Executive Council offers meaningful benefits, including the chance to influence impactful initiatives, collaborate with dedicated leaders, expand your professional network, and leave a lasting legacy through service. As we commemorate the 100th anniversary of Black History Commemorations, your involvement is more important than ever. We encourage all members who are passionate about making a difference and strengthening our mission to attend, learn more, and consider stepping into a leadership role that honors the past while helping to build the future.
Access will be provided to ASALH members who request it and can be found by logging into the Members Private Page. Requests to participate in the meeting must be made using this form.
