Faith, Hope & Love: History-Making Women of Our Time

Vikki J. Myers, co-founder and director of worship of Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries, will present a revival of her monologue and music performance, “Faith, Hope and Love: History-Making Women of Our Time,” returning to Elk Grove Village with a 3 PM performance on Sunday, April 26, at Prince of Peace United Methodist Church.

Accompanied by musical director Garlan Garner, Vikki portrays eight women whose steadfast faith in Christ was evident in making significant career choices, life-changing decisions or no-time-to-think emergency actions. This 20th anniversary multimedia performance is directed by ASALH member Michael Edgar Myers.

“Faith, Hope and Love: History-Making Women of Our Time,” is the third in the series of six shows by Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries it America 250 theater festival, “Convergence of History: Four Anniversaries, One Faith,” which spotlights events and individuals in the complicated relationship between Black History, American History and Christianity. The festival runs through Juneteenth weekend in various locations in Chicago and suburbs.
