NPF 2024 Capacity Building

The National Park Foundation (NPF) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to help build the organizational capacity of national park philanthropic organizations through its capacity building program. The goal of this grant is to support partners to transform their work to be more innovative or effective in your philanthropic impact to national parks. Applicants for this cycle of funding should have annual park-related revenue in the $250k to $1M range, with projects focused on increasing revenue and impact to national parks. 

Applications are currently open until July 21, 2024 at 11:59pm ET. An informative call to discuss this RFP and the proposal process will be held on June 13, 2024 at 3:00pm ET (Zoom link here). All parties interested in submitting a proposal are encouraged to attend the call, though it is not required.

NPF 2024 Capacity Building

The National Park Foundation (NPF), in collaboration with the National Park Service (NPS), is excited to announce our “Enhancing and Protecting America’s Rivers and Trails” Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Fiscal Year 2024 as part of the NPF Rivers and Trails program. The National Trail System and Wild & Scenic Rivers System are facing mounting challenges, including increased visitation, inconsistent funding, and the impacts of climate change. To address these challenges, this year’s RFP will focus on collaborative conservation, ecosystem resiliency and stewardship, enhancing visitor experience, and futureproofing rivers and trails. 

Applications are currently open until July 15, 2024 at 11:59pm ET. Two optional informational calls to discuss this RFP and the proposal process are scheduled for June 13, 2024 at 11:00am ET (Zoom Link), and June 18, 2024 at 3:00pm ET (Zoom Link).
