Candidates should demonstrate evidence of innovative and effective teaching, and an active research agenda centered on communities of Black or African descent.

The joint appointment distribution will be 70% African American Studies/REGSS and 30% History.

The normal teaching load is two courses per semester.

Review of applications will begin October 21 and continue until the position is filled.
