On November 14, 1960, six-year-old Ruby Bridges made history by becoming the first Black student to integrate William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans. Facing crowds of opposition, she courageously entered the school under the protection of four federal marshals, symbolizing a critical step in the fight for educational equality during the Civil Rights Movement.
