Freedom Corridor meets in Jacksonville Fri-Sat March 28-29

200 years ago the Underground Railroad was live in Illinois. It left its mark. Now where do we go from here?

Join us in person or online for the second Freedom Corridor conference at Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL.  Hear from and meet Illinois activists on Underground Railroad history: keynoter public historian Brian K. Mitchell, statewide leaders, New Philadelphia Association leaders, Black studies and history professors, public and community-based K-12 teachers, and more.

6 pm reception, 7 pm program | Friday, March 28 in Cummings Dining Hall

8:30 coffee, 9-4 program | Saturday, March 29 in Crispin Hall
