Juneteenth: 159 Years Later, State of Black Affairs

June 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:15 pm EDT

Juneteenth: 159 Years Later, State of Black Affairs

Join us for insightful speeches at Busboys and Poets where Washington DC icon Rev. Willie Wilson and Professor John Brittain will shed light on the current State of Black Affairs 159 years after Juneteenth. This in-person gathering aims to celebrate the resilience of the Black community in the backdrop of the social cancer of White Supremacy taking over the American body politic. Let’s come together to reflect, learn, and move forward towards a more inclusive society. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of an important event!

The event is being emceed by Andy Shallal.
