The Charles Deslondes Branch of ASALH is excited to work with the New Orleans Juneteenth Festival to offer a children’s reading circle on the history of Juneteenth at 3 pm. We will also have a membership table at the Juneteenth Festival, along with resources for kids and adults to learn more about the history of Juneteenth. Juneteenth Festival is at Louis Armstrong Park on June 19, 2026, from 12 pm -6 pm. The reading circle will be hosted by the Charles Deslondes Branch of ASALH at 3 pm.
