In-Person Event | February 28, 2026 | 10:30 a.m. EST
Please join National Capital Parks – East (NACE) to celebrate Black History Month with stories from Carter G. Woodson’s African Myths and Folk Tales. Children can enjoy an engaging tale about farm animals and then step outside to meet real-life versions of the animals from the story! This event offers a wonderful way to blend literature, culture, and nature into one memorable experience. Oxon Hill has no admission fee and provides free parking.
