The winner of this year’s Association of Black Women Historians Brown Article Prize was Margarita Lila Rosa's 2023 The Journal of African American History article, “They Won’t Let Me Alone’: Riotous Black Women & the Archival Offerings of Desire & Desperation.”The ABWH Brown Article Prize recognizes the best article about Africana women’s history.
