Call for volunteers!

Are you a student or a beginner videographer? Do you want to be a part of Black History? Become an ASALH Conference Videographer!

ASALH is looking for a student or beginner videographer to volunteer with ASALH’s main videographer on Wednesday through Friday to film full events. On Saturday, the volunteer will become the main videographer for the plenary session and banquet.

Will transportation fees be included?

No, ideally we are looking for someone local. However, we can offer parking.

Will hotel rooms be included?

No, ideally we are looking for someone local.

Will meals be included?

Yes, for any meal function events that are attended.

What days will be required for attendance?

Ideally, every day of the conference. If all days aren’t possible, then at least one luncheon and one reception.

Who will have the rights to the videos? Will the videographer be mentioned?

ASALH will have usage rights, but the videographer will have creative rights. The name of the videographer and logo can be added if requested.
