Greetings Luncheon Guest,

This information is for individuals with confirmed reservations for the 94th Annual Black History Luncheon and Authors Book Signing Pavilion. Please review the information below and share it with your guests.

Parking at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel

The hotel’s 9th Street entrance is undergoing a brief refresh; therefore, the main entrance of the hotel will be on K Street.  Valet parking for overnight guests will also be available on K Street.

For those guests who prefer self-parking, Colonial Parking Garage (connected to the hotel) is accessible with the entrance ramp located on 7th Street between I & K Streets. Hotel self parking rates can be found here. While we anticipate that the hotel will have plenty of available parking, the construction might make getting around a little slower than usual.

Because of the construction and the possibility of congestion at the hotel entrance, we recommend that attendees plan to arrive earlier than usual to give themselves enough time to navigate the space. If possible, consider using Uber/Lyft or Public transportation to ensure a seamless arrival process.

For those who need special assistance or an ADA accessible entrance, please head to the valet station on K street and a hotel staff will guide/escort you to the hotel’s new ADA entrance, or use the map below to make your way  to the new ADA entrance (Starbucks Coffee Entrance). See maps below.
